“Who Am I?” is a question that everyone asks themselves at one point or another. Getting to know oneself is a long process. We grow every day, and have different views of, and expectations for, ourselves: as we were in the past, as we are in the present, and as we envisage our future. This can appear to be a difficult and complicated philosophical problem, but the answer can be found very simply.
“Who Am I?” begins with a dot. What can a dot represent? It could be an eye, a sun, a reflection, a traffic light. It can also signify perfection, danger and hope. Everyone will have a different answer. What you see in a dot may well reflect who you are. This book utilises the simplest method to stimulate children’s imagination, and employs an abundance of imagination in order for them to know themselves better. If children can learn how to look at the world from different perspectives, they can begin to appreciate life’s wonderful, interesting and infinite possibilities. More importantly, they can release their full potential. Welcome, friends of all ages, to the unveiling of “Who Am I?”! Together, let’s embark on this visual journey of exploration of art, design and knowledge.
Hi! I am Tony Hon. I am an art director, a graphic designer, a creative director, a university lecturer, a business owner, a husband, a father, and a failed chef. To me, every kid is bright and wonderful. Creativity and individual thinking are the two key drivers for their future. Kids have to realise that their lives are fun, colourful, and full of possibilities only if they look at things from different perspectives. More importantly, they can be whatever they want to be. “Who Am I?” is a visual journey of the exploration of the possibilities of art, design and knowledge. This is a book for kids - and all adults with a kid inside.
